Discover the Art of Micro-Pigmentation

Semi-permanent makeup is an innovative cosmetic technique akin to tattooing, meticulously designed to enhance natural beauty. Using state-of-the-art digital machines, our highly skilled technicians implant small amounts of pharmaceutical-grade, hypo-allergenic pigments into the upper dermal layer of the skin. This precise application ensures results that are not only stunning but also consistent.

FAQ's

Here some of the questions we often get asked.

Allow upto for 2.5 hours

Pigment can remain visible in the skin for several years but to keep a fresh appearance and crisp shape a yearly colour boost is recommended.

No touching or picking ! Only a washed hand can touch your new work and this is just to apply the after care ointment.

No Make up of any kind on the area treated until it completely heals, approximately 14 days.

No soaking in water, we recommend bathing until your work has healed.

No heavy sweating. Avoid heavy work-outs and bacteria filled gym or yoga environments.

Avoid the sun and tanning beds, sauna, steam rooms, hot tubs etc…

Treat it like an open wound. Keep it clean, dry, and moist with the aftercare balm provided.

No other product to be used on treated area, except what you are given for after care.

With most people the colour will change over time. Generally it will fade to a softer version or depending on the acidity of your blood may ash out (goes greyish) over time and then you know it’s time for a refresh where we put back the warm tones or the other way around cool down if you see warm hue.

No, most of my client’s fall asleep !  I numb you before and during treatment so you should feel minimal sensation. Most people describe it as just feeling the vibration from the machine. That being said all people respond differently and that’s why I take my time and if you feel any discomfort, just let me know, and we can take a break.

SEMI PERMANENT MAKEUP ( Digital Machine )

Semi Permanent Makeup is the most common phrase used but terms such as Micropigmentation and Permanent Cosmetics are also used to describe the same procedure. For permanent eyebrows, as well as lip and eyeliner treatments, a cosmetic/medical tattooing machine is used to gently implant pigment into the skin using a variety of fine nano needles. It’s different from a regular tattoo machine in that the frequency is much lower meaning the pigment is implanted closer to the surface. There are a variety of looks you can opt for when choosing your permanent makeup treatments. If it’s a dramatic powder brow you are looking for to mimic the look of makeup or soft ombre, you’ve got it. If it’s more realistic brows you’re looking for go for a procedure using individual nano strokes to create your desired brow shape, go for it. You can also opt for bright lips, natural lip blush, subtle lash enhancement or feline latino eyeliner flicks – the choice is yours!

  • Requires the use of a machine to implant a pigment into the dermis (provides more control, its safer).
  • Pigment can be visible in the skin for several years.
  • A range of design techniques can be produced such as, hair-stroke, powder, combination or ombre.
  • Single or grouped needles can be used to create 3d results, can provide clients with a glamorous, bold or natural finish.
  • Expensive machinery and equipment required.
  • Minimal downtime.

MICROBLADING:

  • Requires the use of a hand held micro blade that is used to slice skin (less control in terms of depth-risk of scarring).
  • Pigment retention not as good
  • Equipment and treatment costs is lower.
  • Minimal downtime.

As you can see there are quite a few similarities between the two, essentially its is the tool and longevity that stands these two treatments apart.
